Better break out those running shoes! That's right, our second-annual Cougar Chromatic Chase is only two weeks away! Saturday, April 26th, 2014! What is the Cougar Chromatic Chase? First of all, it's LOADS of fun! Second, it's either a 1.5 mile or 5 kilometer run in which participants get BLASTED with color. Runners who sign up will get a shirt and a pair of sunglasses AS WELL AS a jolly good time. The Girls soccer team played two great games at River City last night. The notable performances for the JV team were Jessica Massey for aggressive overlapping runs, Rio Bates for outstanding defense, Madison Jana and Katelyn Covitch for tough center midfield work, and Haley Ortiz for scoring a goal. The Varsity top performers were Kylie Haverson with 13 saves, Jo Cade with great possession in the backfield, and inspiring defense and 5 steals by Julia Reyes.
EDHS visited the Vista Eagles for our 2nd showdown of the season. The Cougars shut down Vista 3-0 with scores of 25-15, 28-26, 25-12.
Monique Wilson hit the first base hit to start the inning with Trinity Jackson hitting her in for a score to start off the game last night. Great job softball ladies.
