Attention all students who are interested in doing EDHS Ski/Board Team this year: You have one more day to get officially cleared, the deadline to be put on the Roster for this year's Team is Friday, Nov.21st.

It's Friday and the last day to submit a word of the week sentence before the break. Last week's winner was Cierra Burnett for her sentence: The primary reason for throwing the broken glass away was so that nobody would cut themselves on it.
This week's word is sufficient, meaning adequate or enough of something. Example: Her explanation was not sufficient to satisfy the police. Submit a sufficient sentence of your own by the end of the day to win this week's contest.

JUNIORS & SENIORS: Win a cash prize of up to $1500! Write an essay for the Democrats of El Dorado County - Propose & defend a 28th amendment - or explain why the Constitution should not be amended. Details are available at & in the Career Center. Deadline is Jan 31st.

POSTER CONTEST: Win $1,000 for your poster illustrating how one person can make a difference. Students in grades 9-12 are eligible. Visit or the Career Center for details. Deadline is Feb 18th
