El Dorado Boys Basketball team won last night versus Galt 61-47. If you are the game you would have seen a vicious dunk by Matt Smith, who led the team with 25 points. Other standout players were Isaac Bugbee, Brian Lane and Casey Nyquist. The next game will on Tuesday versus Union Mine. 

Word of the week. This week's word, value, can be used as both a verb and a noun. Can you use this word both ways? Write a sample sentence or two and give it a try. You could win a prize.

Boys Volleyball starts Pre-Season conditioning this Friday January 23rd, after school in the weight room from 4-6 PM.
If you are thinking about trying out for either the JV or Varsity team, this is a great place to come meet other players and the Coach while you get in volleyball shape before tryouts in February. Bring friends who might be interested for a fun-filled and very competitive boys volleyball season!

Boys golf team meeting - If you are interseted in trying out for the boys golf team, please attend a mandatory meeting today during lunch in room E-257. Meeting starts at 1:20. Please be on time.

Hey Cubers - the Puzzle Club meets today at lunch in room E251.

Blue Latte for this semester will be up and running beginning January 27th. This also means there will not be a late bus running until January 27th. Please plan accordingly!

We know its winter, however if you are planning on playing a spring sport, spring clearance is going on NOW!! Come pick up an athletic packet in the front office. You will need to get a physical, so plan ahead! If you participated in a Fall or Winter sport, come in & complete the sports transfer clip board at the athletic secretary desk.

SENIORS: Do you have a parent who is in the Buckeye Teachers Association? Apply for the BTA Scholarship! Applications are available at cta.org. Deadline is Feb 6th.

SENIORS, do you need money for college? Some private colleges have financial aid deadlines as early as Feb 1st. Check the financial aid deadline at any private and out-of-state colleges you've applied to, and make sure to submit your FAFSA by the earliest deadline so you don't miss out!!
