Schedule for Week of 4/27-5/1

Varsity baseball beat Union Mine Thursday 4-0
Nick Bonniksen threw a No-Hitter! Come out Friday and them play Kennedy at 4:00

The Varsity girls were in a real competitive match last night with Galt. However the El Dorado Cougars came up victorious with 2 goals scored in the last 15 minutes of play. There were strong performances from Riley Weinhold with 4 goal kick possessions, Claire McGill with 16 passes, Laura Polkinghorn with one assist, and an amazing diving save by Kylie Haverson on a penalty kick that was kicked less than a foot from the post. The MVP performance was given by Kristen Teehee who courageously attacked the Galt Defense leading to a steal, which led to an easy goal by Kaycee Richards and finally an aggressive header by Kristen to the top corner of the net. What an inspiring performance ladies!

The JV girls soccer team won again, this team beating Galt by the score of 3-0 last night here at home. Selina Morales and Nichole Eckhardt scored the goals, and once again the entire team played solid defense and recorded yet another shutout. Congratulations ladies on another outstanding team victory!
